My First Step with Lilies Pages

Starting Scared, Starting Anyway

Hi, I’m Jacinda—and this is the beginning of something I’ve dreamed about for a long time.

Welcome to the very first blog post from Lilies Pages. If you’re reading this, thank you for being here. Truly.

Starting this business has been one of the most exciting and terrifying things I’ve ever done. I’ve spent years managing projects, solving technical problems, and keeping things running smoothly in the world of hydroelectric power. But this? This is different. This is personal. This is mine.

Lilies Pages was born from a desire to create something meaningful—something that helps people feel grounded, inspired, and in control of their time. I launched my first planner, The Kayley, earlier this year, and it still feels surreal to say that out loud. It’s the only planner available right now, but more are in the works. Each one will be named after someone who’s inspired me, and each will carry its own story.

What I’m Learning: Time Blocking

Since I’m being honest, I’ll admit—I’ve been overwhelmed. There’s so much to do when you’re building something from scratch. But I’ve started trying something new that’s really helping: time blocking.

My cousin suggested it, and I decided to give it a full week. I’m on day 3, and so far, I love it. Every morning, before I check emails or scroll, I sit down and block out my day. It helps me prioritize what matters and gives me a sense of calm before the chaos begins.

If you’re juggling a lot (and who isn’t?), I highly recommend giving it a try. Even just 10 minutes in the morning can make a huge difference.

What’s Next

This blog will be a space where I share:

  • Behind-the-scenes updates on new planners
  • Tips and tools that are helping me stay organized
  • Honest reflections on this journey—failures, wins, and everything in between

I don’t have it all figured out. But I’m showing up, learning as I go, and building something I believe in. And if you’re here, reading this, you’re part of that story now.

Plan with purpose. Bloom with grace.

— Jacinda
